Driving lessons are one of the fastest and easiest ways for you to gain confidence behind the wheel, learn essential skills and ace that driving test.

That’s why it’s important to choose an instructor who will make you feel relaxed and comfortable. It’s hard to learn in a stressful environment, so we do our best to put you at ease.

A good driving instructor should be:

• Fully licenced and qualified

• Have a valid Police Check and Working with Children Check

• Up-to-date with the road rules in their State

• Provide a clean, well-maintained vehicle

Harbourside Driving School is a family-run business, owned and managed by Coffs Harbour couple Casey and Andrew Reid. Casey is the friendly voice on the end of the phone, looking after the bookings and business administration.

Andrew has been a driving instructor since 2016 and is also a trade-qualified mechanic – so he knows his way around a car from bonnet to boot. Andrew is friendly, calm and patient. He enjoys getting to know his students, making them feel relaxed and helping them overcome any fears they may have about learning to drive.

 

Learning to drive is serious business

At Harbourside Driving School we take learning to drive seriously. With so many lives lost on Australian roads every year, our aim is to create safe, responsible, confident drivers.

We educate young and new drivers about the dangers and hazards they may experience, whether they’re traveling long distances or just a taking a short trip around town.

Our aim is to help learners pass their driving test, but also to become courteous road users.

Harbourside Driving School has an excellent relationship with local employment agencies and we also work with Lismore Ace Community College as part of its Aboriginal Driver Education Program.

 

Locations

We offer driving lessons in Coffs Harbour, Sawtell, Toormina, Boambee and north to Woolgoolga. Busy schedule? That’s no problem, we can provide lessons in flexible hours to suit your schedule. We also pick up and drop off at your choice of location within our local area.

Want to be picked up from work or school for your lesson and dropped home afterwards? Just ask when you book your lesson and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
